Arte's Curio Shop... Becomes Lost Media???

ONLY FOR TWO DAYS, AND I'M VERY SORRY!

Hey everyone!

Got some good and bad news about Arte's Curio Shop.

First the bad news: Arte's Curio Shop will be going back in the vault for a couple days as I retool some issues I was having with the current upload of the film. This is not a decision I make lightly but one that I think will improve the viewing experience to make it better for everybody. While don't think this will do me any favors with the algorithm, I think it will be a benefit to you, my real human viewers! IT WILL BE BACK SOON, ON MY CHANNEL and ready to be watched any time you like!

Now for the good news: you! You guys have showed up for this film in a big way and this has otherwise been a very happy and perfect premiere! The film was at 12.5K total cross-platform views before this change meaning that even if the reposted versions aren’t able to surpass that, likely 6,000 unique people have already watched our cartoon! I have loved reading your comments and they have brought me such joy and encouragement. I wish I could respond to all of them, but since the video is now unlisted I will tell all you now here: THANK YOU SO MUCH! Our team really wanted to bring a warm, analog, old-school experience packed with more easter eggs than a Cadbury factory to you and I'm glad that idea is resonating strong! So happy so see other Webkinz, indie animation, and analog fans out there! Please keep the conversation going when the video's back on either Monday or Tuesday and I'll be there with ya! I will also finally make that premiere blog post I mentioned and properly thank our fine crew and film backers!

For those interested in the giveaways, I've saved all the entries so worries there. Though feel free to comment on the new version of the video for a second entry too! Again, so sorry to cause this confusion; it's rather ironic that a film inspired by lost media has (very temporarily) become lost media itself. I hope you'll still show up for the video when it's back on Monday/Tuesday and give it a spin or two!
